Suzy Birstein - Ceramic Artist Suzy was thrilled to be invited to participate in "Everybody wins at the Oscars" gift baskets for top nominees at 2008 Academy Awards! more This September, Suzy will return to SKOPELOS - the gorgeous Greek island where "Mamma Mia" was filmed, offering "MYTHO MUSE" WORKSHOP!! more Suzy Birstein is known for her colourful tableware and sculpture which has had exposure nationally in Canada and internationally. She works from and gives ceramic classes and workshops from her garden studio in Kitsilano, Vancouver, as well as teaching and doing artist in residence stints in public and private schools in the Lower Mainland. About why she makes art, Suzy says, "There is a great kind of rhythm and feeling in synch with the universe that brings me in touch with the best part of myself..." |
